Trout Unlimited Ted Knott Chapter

Courtcliffe  Park

Courtcliffe Park is located in the village of Carlisle, in Hamilton, Ontario. The park was formerly a trailer park and before that in agricultural use. During those periods, the creek experienced many alterations, ultimately leading to degradation of the habitat for coldwater fish.  
The Ted Knott Chapter has long advocated for the restoration of Bronte Creek and Mountsberg Creek in Courtcliffe Park. In 2015, in partnership with our parent organization, the City of Hamilton and Conservation Halton we were  able to take major steps towards the creeks rehabilitation.
